Debbie Cloete: Art as Connection

Through her mixed-media creations, Debbie Cloete celebrates the interplay of colour and form, weaving themes of joy, gratitude, and harmony. Her works transcend traditional artistic boundaries, evoking emotions that connect viewers with both the tangible and intangible.

In Debbie’s words

"By focusing on the relationships between colour and form, my work embodies my awareness and acceptance of both the seen and the unseen world. It attempts to illustrate my belief that what connects these two worlds is the willingness to observe, acknowledge, and exist without the cognitive need for understanding."

  • Invites viewers to experience emotions of joy, hope, and introspection.

  • Known for her alchemic use of paint, transforming it into vibrant expressions of connection.
