Zoë, based in Hermanus, South Africa, graduated from Stellenbosch University with a BA in Contemporary Jewellery Design and Manufacturing in 2020, and recently completed her MA in Visual Arts in 2024. Her academic background provides a strong foundation for her innovative approach to art.
Her work explores themes of identity, transformation, and the interplay between the organic and the industrial. Whether it’s the fluid lines of a drawing, the bold presence of a painting, or the tactile nature of her jewellery, Zoë invites viewers to connect with her pieces on a personal level. She challenges conventional notions of art, encouraging thoughtful engagement with her creations.

Zoë's jewellery transcends mere adornment. She explains, “The beauty of the jewellery object lies in discord, vulnerability, and purity.
